Before you can buy a ticket, you'll need funds in your TicketDock wallet. Pay with a card, or send crypto from a wallet like MetaMask. Either way it takes about five minutes — follow the steps or watch a video, whichever's easier.
Add funds straight from a debit or credit card. You'll need to be signed in.
Sign in and open your wallet
Log in to your TicketDock account, open your wallet page and choose the Card tab under Fund wallet.
Go to the card formEnter the amount
Type how much you'd like to add, in US dollars. The minimum deposit is $1.
Enter your card details
Add your card number, expiry date (MM/YY), CVV and the name on the card. The card logo appears as you type, and each field is checked for typos before anything is sent. American Express cards use a 4-digit CVV on the front; every other card uses 3 digits on the back.
Tap Pay
A notification shows your payment being processed, then confirms it was submitted. Your full card number and CVV are never sent to or stored by TicketDock.
Wait for confirmation
Pending reviewCard deposits are currently reviewed before they're credited. Your deposit shows as pending in your transaction list until it's approved, and your balance updates once it is.
Already have crypto, or know where to buy it? Get it into MetaMask and send it to TicketDock.
A walkthrough of funding a MetaMask wallet, start to finish.
Open MetaMask
Open the app on your phone or the extension in your browser, and unlock your wallet.
Confirm your wallet address
Make sure it's the same address you plan to use on TicketDock — funds sent from the wrong wallet can't be matched to your account.
Add funds
Buy or transfer crypto into MetaMask using whichever funding option you'd normally use — a card, a bank transfer, or another wallet.
Check the network
Can't be undoneConfirm your funds are on the same network TicketDock's deposit address expects, before sending anything.
Copy TicketDock's deposit address
You'll find it on your wallet page. Copy it exactly — don't retype it.
Go to your wallet pageSend, then confirm
Send the funds, then submit the transaction reference on your wallet page. An admin verifies it and credits your balance.
No crypto yet? If PayPal offers crypto in your country, you can buy it there and send it to your wallet.
PayPal's own walkthrough of buying crypto, up to the purchase. Sending it on to your wallet is covered in the steps.
Check PayPal offers crypto for you
Check firstBuying crypto in PayPal is only available in some countries and account types. The video shows a US account — if you don't see a Crypto option in your PayPal app, use one of the other funding methods instead.
Log in and tap Crypto
Sign up or log in to PayPal, then tap Crypto from the home screen.
Select Buy and confirm your info
The first time, PayPal asks you to confirm some details before you buy: accept the crypto terms and conditions, then review your contact info. It verifies your identity with details like your address, date of birth and, on US accounts, your SSN. You only do this once.
Choose what to buy
Pick the coin TicketDock accepts (your wallet page shows which one) and enter an amount that covers your tickets plus the network fee for sending it on. Leave the frequency on One-time, unless you want recurring purchases.
Pay and review
Choose how to pay (your PayPal balance, a debit card, or link a new one). Check the summary, which shows how much crypto you're getting, the exchange rate, the transaction fee and the total, then tap Buy Now.
Send it to your own wallet
Can't be undoneThe video stops at the purchase. To spend it on TicketDock, use PayPal's transfer option to send the crypto to your wallet address, such as MetaMask. Check the address and the network carefully before you confirm.
Deposit to TicketDock
Once it lands in your wallet, copy TicketDock's deposit address from your wallet page, send the funds, then submit the transaction reference. An admin verifies it and credits your balance.
